I hope we get the call right, it does appear the club has made that call already.
That’s just manager speech I think . Trying to put pressure on the club to re-up his player , more money and bigger squad role .
I also think the rapid ascension of Haywood this past 12 months , is probably making his team feel a bit of pressure to establish himself in the first team .
I mean Simpkin , and Liddle , had a very similar trajectory only to be supplanted by the new shiny toy in TDS.
It would be a real concern that if he doesn’t progress ie. more game time/ starting 9 , will haywood replace him , and now instead of being in the nrl each week , they’re starting for Blacktown workers on saturdays .
That’s not a made up scenario . The Lussick brothers, the 2 I just mentioned, even Jayden Brailey and Mahoney are being talked about as being dropped .
It’s a real case of what have you done for me lately .
I guess I’m saying , if we do ask TDS to be patient with his development , we need to pick and stick as well . Give the loyalty we receive .
I think for too long we haven’t really shown that , all the way back to Robbie Farah . At the very least there’s a perception of that .
Even last year with Bateman and Klemmer .

I don't disagree with any of that, its hard to pick and stick though when you make poor signing decisions to start with.
Agreed . Unfortunately we’ve created a sort of perpetual loop , where we don’t trust our development , so we give up on kids/ signings for the new shiny toy to develop until …. Start that sentence over …
I’m hoping guys like luai can maintain the rage . Just long enough that they can get through to your Fainu brothers /bula etc , to give develop to then start a new cycle . But yea I agree on TDS as well. It’s poor form to ask a hall of famer to stand aside , if that is what’s happening .

Agree with Steve re known pedantic officials before the game and the players should have adjusted accordingly
BUT when there were opportunities to be pedantic that benefitted the tigers the officials FAILED
Either have unconscious bias ( proven over a number of years ) OR they simply achieve the desired outcome against the tigers
Sorry Steve shouldn’t turn the other cheek as many times as the tigers have had to over officiating over numerous years
