The supporters have made it clear enough, Leichhardt has a packed out crowd for almost all their matches, however , I really think , if possible, that Leichhardt and Campbelltown were both developed into proper stadiums this would be best for our supporters, and rely on both these two.

I think the issue with the logic that we get better crowds at Homebush and BankWest is that we play most of our blockbuster games at those stadiums. When we play at the suburban grounds it’s usually against teams like cowboys and warriors where we don’t get the benefit of the away team fans showing up.

Probably true Russell. Round 26 games with a semi spot on the line has helped aswell though.

The position by position analysis is both interestong and severely depressing.

How this club has managed to fumble recruitment is criminal.

They should be so thankful that we have persevered so long.

At the moment we can only fit 22,000 at Leichhardt Oval, and we get average crowds of 13,000 and we pay these games against sides like Titans, Storm , Cowboys, and one Sydney side. Also, one of these games will be on a Monday night. Last year we got an average of 13,000 , that's 59% full, whereas they play at Homebush 80,000 capacity and playing sides within Sydney , so we get benefit of crowds from the other teams , we get 18,000 there, and 23% full. If they developed the Leichhardt and Campbelltown grounds to hold 40,000. They would get bigger crowds and the atmosphere would be so much better than at Homebush.
