I don’t think Benji gave too much of a shit himself about losing spoonbowl. He certainly didn’t seem to in the post match presser.

That’s probably gunna go down as the turning point in his coaching career …Benji got that one wrong .. telling the “players to enjoy themselves “… it was also the game where Richo blasted the players on the sideline for laughing…he was fuming ..

I suspect Richo probably gave it to Benji after that game… and he looks to have taken it on board … army camp in pre season … tougher mental attitudes instilled in the players particularly on their defence pretty much all season bar 2-3 games … the inverse of what we usually see with them only putting in 2 or 3 teams a year … I’ve bagged him when the team has been poor … but I think I’ve got to say this past 6-7 weeks is the best the team has looked in a decade … Taylan May has helped a lot … but I’ll give the coach a bit of credit for that too..

Personally I think winning or losing v the Titans will be the difference between an acceptable season or an unacceptable season
If we finish above 13th we have done ok ....if not Benji has 13 rounds next year to step up
