Wests Tigers Press Conference

Good interview - a bit disappointing about Woods - sounds like its still up in the air as when he will return - Potter did say possibly round 1 but not with much conviction.

Anasta sounded good and like he was playing for the team.

Potter seems no nonsense in the presser which I like.

Looking good for the new season. Can't wait to see how they go against the Roosters.

Yep and will the Roosters game be televised?

Woods himself reckons he'll be sweet for round 1.

3min 35//3 min 40 sec….love Anastas body language when next weeks Roosters trial is brought up

Trying to remember …... think that SBW and Anasta will play opposite each other ,sure SBW plays right side

Seeing that Anasta was forced out due to SBW could be interesting

I pray that a Tigers player will absolutely belt SBW (legally of course)

Two very refreshing aspects to that conference.

Firstly, how good is it to have a WT coach respond simply and honestly to the questions posed instead of thinking more about how his response will look?!

Secondly, Anasta as a team member not running the team. I really think that onoy having to look after his own will be ideal for his game, and for the team. The test will come when things are not going well - will he push his way into the decision making process, will the others invite him in, will the coach instill some sort of organised balance to this process?

Interesting times for sure!

There was a tweet the other day about highlights of the game on saturday night. Does anyone have a link for this?

I am of the view that Anasta is winding down his career - and is actually looking for less pressure and less responsibility.

He is leader by nature. I am sure he competitiveness will be demonstrated in match situations along the way, barking orders etc - but I genuinely think he is happy to take a back seat and focus on winning games and enjoying his final years.

Up on the weststigers website now. Good work!

Small suggestion, but by no means taking away from what you have done. If the camera could be horizontal next time, it would stop me falling off my chair trying to align my eyesight to the video.

But, as I said, by no means winging, griping or complaining, its purely a bit of feedback. After all, where would we all be without feedback (albeit constructive). I would have watched it if it was in B/W, no sound our even blurry as hell. so thanks for sharing with us all. Awesome!
