Wests Tigers prove popular at Fisher Ghost's events
Wests Tigers continued its strong community work in Campbelltown by attending two events last weekend as part of the annual Fisher’s Ghost Street festivities.
On Saturday, Wests Tigers players Matt Bell, Matt Groat and Sauaso Sue took time out after training to meet fans at the Fisher’s Ghost Street Fair. The players were interviewed on stage before signing autographs and taking part in the pass the ball activities.
Sunday saw the Wests Tigers participate in the popular Fisher’s Ghost Fun Run at UWS Campbelltown. The Wests Tigers mascot even joined the runners for the fun event.
Last weekend’s activities follows the appearance of NRL Coach Mick Potter and centre Chris Lawrence for the opening of the annual Fisher’s Ghost festival the week before.
Each November, the legendary Festival of Fisher's Ghost comes alive in Campbelltown. The Festival is steeped in history, dating back to 1956\. It is named after Australia's most famous ghost, Frederick Fisher.
Mayor of Campbelltown and Wests Tigers fan Sue Dobson officially opened this year’s festival in front of around 5000 people.

Wests Tigers prove popular at Fisher Ghost's events
