Wests Tigers Schedule For Rounds 8 & 9

The National Rugby League has today released the schedule of matches for rounds 8 and 9 in the 2011 Telstra Premiership season.

Wests Tigers will play Canberra Raiders at Canberra Stadium in round 8 on Sunday, May 1, at 2pm. The match will be shown live on Fox Sports 2.

Wests Tigers have the bye in round 9 - the weekend of the annual City v Country match and the Test match between Australia and New Zealand

That's a good weekend to have the bye - i'd imagine we'll have plenty of players across those two matches (city v Country - and Aust v NZ)

but Sunday arvo footy is better than tackling the raiders in Canberra in a night game
