not just Roberts. the thought of Liddle, Brooks, Fitzgibbon and potentially Laurie all in the side at once is a massive improvement on the lack of speed we've had since Tedesco headed for the exits.

Sure he is not the most all round complete package footballer, but having him on the right today we saw an extra ounce of pace we haven't seen at the tigers for a long time. He only got a few chances as Madden struggled to open us up on the right, but everytime he did he looked good...2 half line breaks and a good try.

With Laurie, Liddle and Roberts all in the starting 13, we finally have an extra yard of pace.

Roberts looked really good today. Seems like the kind of player who is a 10/10 player when his team plays well around him. May go missing from time to time when the forwards don't go well and/or the halves don't feed him the ball correctly.

So basically, if everyone else does their job correctly, Jimmy the Jet will shine in 2021.

I think with Joey in the centre’s will also create opportunities for the jet as the opposition will have threats on both sides and the pace we have this year will in my opinion be the difference in us making the eight.

The defence looked better so Jet in space will be awesome

Doesn't it show what speed does for attack; even the threat of speed. Jimmy just has that cat-like pace change and it makes the defence nervous and prone to bad decisions.

Also chasing that Brooks kick, he had the defence step across his path and didn't lose any speed adjusting his line. Makes your short kicking game so much more effective when you have that kind of instant pace to pressure the kicks.

If nothing else Jimmy Jet is fit and firing right now. Surely now it's only about his mental fitness over 1+ seasons, because he's still a physical specimen.

Easy game plan. Get early ball to roberts and his speed will do wonders.

The speed factor changes the whole dynamic.
It was interesting our game plan.
Run middle left, quick play the ball 2 passes to JTJ for some space.

When he had a sniff the opposite player knows he will get burnt and with Noffa on his outside its a double hit as Noffa can bump off everyone.

We just need a good backrower inside JTJ who will run hard and offload. Shame Lucy is on the other side.

In 2019 yes ...haven't seen it for a long while ...thats the problem
