So Blore and Seyfarth dropped whilst the senior players remain. WEAK.

Those two should be given a lot more chances especially Seyfarth. Twal and Tamou have been our two worst performing middles recently and they stay.

Our edges especially Luc have been poor defensively and Blore isn't poor defensively.

Still he is trying stuff.

We shouldn't have made Tamou captain. It's too hard to sack him and we probably should drop him. He hasn't been bad but he is a worker like Twal but Twal is better.

I agree @earl, I thought in our game against Souths our middle forwards (A & B) defenders lacked any line speed failing to move up. The worst offenders I thought were Twal, Seyfarth and to a lesser degree Tamou.

Also, Pauga may not be who we think he is…

This takes me back to the Garry Hrant days

Will be interested to see Pauga play, if he's been in the State Cup team when I've watched them, he wasn't a standout.
Good to see Stef get a start, he should be pumped after his Origin camp.
Understand Twal not being on with Tamou... as many mentioned previously, they are somewhat similar players so perhaps looking for a better balance? I'd expect Alex to replace Tamou, and he should be chomping at the bit by then.
Same with JO, by the time he gets on he will be ready to rip in, just hope that it energy is applied smart... not always the case with Joe but I like his will.
Tuki is still a pup, a little concerned about that one... maybe #20 or #21 might come in. Or, if not hopefully we'll only need a late cameo from him as we are well ahead.
Mbye will play, there will be issues without someone being able to cover backs/hooker.

Then again, "expect changes"??
All my above thoughts then likely out the window ha!

You dont build culture by rewarding piss poor senior players who are near enough to tanking while dropping your best young talent.

Its a very poor response to the real issues at the club.

Dead man walking!

One of the few players at this club who plays with passion. he would be one of the first i pick.

Like I said, he’s asking to be sacked with this line up

Yeah don't get me wrong, I think Tuki will be a gun and I like what I see but he is still very young and inexperienced. I guess now might be the time to give him a sniff - and as I mentioned with a bit of luck we go alright and he can come on for a cameo late in the game. If we're getting owned I wouldn't like to throw him in the pit just yet.

Interested to see Pauga, hopefully he goes well.

I don't know how to react to his selection given that he was playing Qld cup a few weeks ago
- hopefully we have found a hidden gem via our scouting network
- or our available centres are terrible
- what does this mean for our young players such as Hoffman (who has played NSW cup all year), Kei (probably lack of experience against grown men), Cooper and others?

Does anyone know the 30 players that we have taken to Qld?

I really dont think he is a guy who is going to go to water because he debuted in a bad team. Trust his mentality not a cliched view of a rookie.

The 2 new kids get a go against a very ordinary Bronco's side, a good time to let them loose

Seyfarth deserves to be filthy over this one and yet Mbye survives...bewildering. to say the least.

Or maybe Madge is protecting him ?

It's hard to believe that after his rant about needing to find men.

Seyfarth might get caught out laterally at times, but he's one of the few who always has a red hot go and is no worse than some others still in the side. Can't tell me Tamou offers more on the field than Seyfarth right now - laterally he's just as bad but the difference is Seyfarth competes on every play.

Blore didn't deserve to be dropped either. This just shows how bad our roster really is.

Replace roster with coach.

Junior Pauga:

" just can't believe it. I'm about to make my childhood dream come true."

Good luck young fellow, make your family and your club proud.

Tuki Simpkins:

"I'm so happy — I was pretty overwhelmed when my name got called out, and I just can't wait for this opportunity.

"I'm going to take this opportunity with both hands. No matter how long I get out there, I'm going to go my hardest and do my team proud."

Congrats mate, I know you will kill it.

Dropping Blore and Seyfarth ?‍♂️

An absolute disgrace...

The coach is a complete hoax. 38% at souths last two years...and has us on track for our worst ever finish.

Yet some people still want to say that what Sam Burgess and GI helped cover in 2014 should buy him time with us....
