Roberts wasn't at captains run, Talau was. Reckon there's a good chance they swap for the game tomorrow

Really wish KOE cup was still on so Talau can just learn things through there. The last time he was out of the squad was during last years lockdown. Heck the last time he was in NSW cup was 2019. Hopefully right centre is a position he can do well in this time around.

So we begin with a 12 point handicap with Talau starting? Great stuff

Roberts confirmed to be out, currently not in QLD as he was at a Sydney site with a COVID case. Has tested negative but he's isolating for the next 4 days. Talau taking his spot

Disappointing the two most dangerous centres in the Comp didn’t travel to QLD. Thought the club hierarchy were geniuses signing that pair 😂

Wests Tigers centre James Roberts has not travelled with the team to Brisbane after he was placed in a COVID hold following an exposure to a site in Sydney with a known case.

James has since returned a negative COVID test.

He will remain in isolation for the coming four days and will subsequently miss Sunday’s game against the Brisbane Broncos.

Tommy Talau will replace Roberts in the side this week.

We have 1 x debutant and now we have Talau... we've seen what he can deliver.

This should be an easy game but it's looking harder the closer it gets.

Still hopeful the boys turn up for this one.

Hate to be negative but I dont see this as an easy game at all. I think the Broncs will be up for this as they will actually believe they can win it and they will thrive on confidence.
Some of the talent they have could easily get a roll on and look like world beaters if we don’t step up.
