WESTS Tigers Team V Dogs

Replace those in injured with a payer who has size, that is what we'll be lacking against the Dogs with Woods and Lodge both out, we can't afford more small players.

Aaron Woods has been ruled out for the Tigers this week. Lovett is in, with Halatau and Naiqama in doubt.

Lawrence and Lovett the centre pairing,an inexperienced halves combination and a shortage of big quality props ? Our policy of not buying quality experienced players for this season is fully being found out and it's only round 3\. Not good enough for an NRL side. Not happy.

not looking great :/

we have a fortified spirit thus far on the field - something is different. The loss also fortified my spirit. That hasn't happened for a long time.

So we lose our best prop and replace him with a lightweight backrower that's single nrl game was playing as a centre. Deary me is sheens back?

people said similar stuff last year, 'look at the resiliance in defence' 'been a long time since ive been confident in our defence to hold them out'

especially after that raiders game where they had set after set on our line and we closed it out.

but yea, our D is even better this year than last. obviously made improvements which is great to see.

Still a light bench. Do we have any more props who are ready?

If the players are out as they say we will see finally the depth of the club or lack off it , I do not think the Dogs are the greatest and I feel they are beatable it depends on just how good the second string players will be. The problem with hype is it has to be replicated on the paddock good luck to the young guys stepping up to the plate?

I wonder if Halatau being in doubt has anything to do with Cherrington not being named in NSW Cup?
Either way, Marty to prop, Santi to start, Peni to centre, bench of Ava, Buchanan, Lovett and Akauola.

Not really a 'policy', Newtown - more an economic reality/necessity.

The games tomorrow they would know who is going to play tomorrow. Just tell us the team and stop being so cagey.

All I want to know is Lamar playing or not

You wouldn't think so, but I suppose it's basically the role he's been playing in NSW Cup anyway - let the experienced hooker soak up the early onslaught before injecting him to spark the attack. Either way with the side named JT seems set on playing small ball against the Dogs, the complete opposite of Harry's 4 prop royal rumble bench (that worked).

Anyone recall how we fared last year in games without Woods?

Won 1 V Parramatta …Lost 3 Brisbane Souths Penrith

They put "finé" in the second row… Lawrance should be next. But we keep choping and changing because he has nothing... What if he is crap at second row ? Do we cut him... He's on loads of money, for an average player.. We could save the money and put it into one of our young guns

Expecting Tedesco to have a blinder tonight. GI had him rattled in the head but that will stand him in sound mind for the games to come especially the next one against Souths. I am looking forward to watching Liolevave show his class, big plus for us when he steps onto the park. This game is Taylor made for him…Get into them Wests Tigers... :sign:
