???I understand the criticism of Laurie. But to play devils advocate he missed a certain try sure however he didn’t miss it through lack of effort. He still put himself in the contest, it will come. The whole team is lacking the confidence to put it all together; not just Laurie.
Toa was good and his speed was an asset. With a short turn around and the flight who knows how the two vets will pull up before the game. He is injury cover and with his utility value fair enough. He is not going to out place Daine after a good showing on the wing.
We start well. Stefano did a good job of setting the tempo and we need to keep that momentum going. Musgrove is a given over Twal to start. Peachy will come on early and Joffa will play prop again. But in this game you’ll be trying to get as many minutes out of the two starting front rowers as possible before bringing Seyfarth and Twal into the contest. Don’t want anymore interchange bungles.
Tamou will play longer minutes this week, absolutely capable of playing longer minutes than he usually does. Musgrove will probably play between 35-40 mins for the match. Don’t forget Garner is there also who if no injuries strike will probably push Kelma into prop for a stage.???
How many minutes do you think Cap'n Courageous and Musgrove have in them, tough pack to take on with only 3 players that you’ve mentioned, considering we’ve been getting steamrolled late.
Is it on us or the people running the compWhy is the 18-24 in this thread not the same as the 18-24 on the nrl.com and wests tigers app. They both have Henry Okane at 18 and tom freebairn. Also both dont have Mikele whereas he is at 18 in this thread???
Garner needs to get on before Peach unless we’re down bad early… tell him to make only quality involvements.Tamou will play longer minutes this week, absolutely capable of playing longer minutes than he usually does. lets not forget the players who are leaving get automatic selectionToa shows hunger and desire to be there, dropped.
Seyfarth, plays with more heart then anyone, relegated to bench.
Musgrave shows nothing but stupidity with dropped balls and silly penalties, he gets promoted.
Laurie, well enough has been said.
The coach has completely lost the plot. His insistence on rewarding the wrong players will be the end of him.
u do realize hes been bad in 2 games so far right ??Some of you dont understand,Ken M is an NRL standard player on bigger money than TAO,you play Ken before a junior who is still developing, you give Laurie the chance to redeem himself as he is still sheepish from his broken leg but played well last year before his injury (but must show something much better this week or off to reggies)...Madge must have reasons for his bench rotation,we arent privy to what they do or talk about at training...
Hastings, AD,TT,AJ,all to come back......pick your lips up and start thinking positive, havent we all picked ourselves up off the canvas many, many, times before...this year is no different....dont be negative, things will get better...
Hopefully. Peach adds spark around the ruck but also can break down opportunities. but in saying that with no Simpkin who knows what role he will play this week.Garner needs to get on before Peach unless we’re down bad early… tell him to make only quality involvements.
Hope Tamou has it in him but worried he’ll gas
Evan a blind squirrel can find a nut.We will win and you will all eat your words
I am all for giving chances but lets not play on Daine trying to build his confidence coming back from a leg injury - Madge had to ask him to stop doing flips on his scooter in the offseason. Injury not too blame. Some of you dont understand,Ken M is an NRL standard player on bigger money than TAO,you play Ken before a junior who is still developing, you give Laurie the chance to redeem himself as he is still sheepish from his broken leg but played well last year before his injury (but must show something much better this week or off to reggies)...Madge must have reasons for his bench rotation,we arent privy to what they do or talk about at training...

So we should expect 25 minutes this week?Tamou will play longer minutes this week, absolutely capable of playing longer minutes than he usually does.
