WESTS Tigers Team V Gold Coast..

So good to see Lovett not even in the 21\. I like that Eiso has been named at lock. Looks like Mcilwrick is playing 80

6 weeks ago we booked to fly up for this game… as the NRL hadn't issued rd21 schedule yet, we punted that the game would be a Saturday evening or night game, as most GC home games are Saturday night and given the Tigers RD20 game was a Sunday 4pm game we figured for sure the NRL would put the RD 21 game on Saturday and not Sunday again...So we made a long weekend of it and booked to fly up Thursday and return Sunday 2pm....then then boom... the NRL issues the schedule and it's a Sunday arvo game.. . as there are 4 of us to change our return flight cost $360.no way..... so we will enjoy the GC sun this weekend but miss out on why we went up there in the first place....I heard CBus is an impressive stadium too... oh well try again in 2018....

That sucks big time. Actually think we will win this one, now that Brooks can trip Hayne and only get fined.

Surely the NRL should've had Panthers v Bulldogs Sunday arvo, Tigers v Titans Saturday night and Chooks v Cowboys on Thursday night.

That must suck, I hope you enjoy your time up there and that the Tigers win to ease the pain a little…

Thanks mate we'll make the most of the weekend… weather is expected to be great

gee, that's not a bad side for us, here's hoping they can do the job. Was planning on going, but won't make it this year.

Still remember when teddy and brooksy put on a show there a few years ago when potter was in charge. Was a cracker of a game. Had the big marn next to me on the flight back too - top bloke.

Solid side this week. Really hope we stick it to Hayne.

It is frustrating the scheduling of these interstate games.. I would like to go
to Melbourne and Brisbane and make a weekend for the family but with Thursdays /Fridays and working hours they just do not mix .You would think these games would be all
Sat/Sun to increase the revenue for each city ..maybe next season. On a side note the Tigers have the next 3 Free to air Sunday games not bad for a club running second last ,anyone that thinks the Tigers are not the sleeping giants are dreaming!

We should be able to dominate the ruck with that side name.
Hopefully Matt Mc can play long mins so ET or someone doesn't spend too much time at DH.

Looks like the best team we can field at the moment.

If Josh Aloiai is fit I would prefer him on the bench to the very disappointing Jesse Sue.

I would rest Moses Suli for the rest of 2017 or let him play in State Cup. We need him for 2018.

With Ava, Woods and Teddy leaving at the end of the year I would like to see fringe players like J J Feilse given a run off the bench. Need to plan for 2018 and see who is worth offering a bus ticket to.

Given their appears little quality props left to buy for 2018 hopefully Tim Grant can step up and be offered a ticket. Props usually improve with age and we all know he once played SOO albeit awhile a go.

Excited with Twal contribution so far. great signing.

With Milne joining us in 2018 I wonder where Marsters will play in 2018\. Utility off the bench.

My bench for 2018

Grant
Marsters
Packer
Aloiai

Lawrence, MKC, Sue and JJ Feliese to come into consideration through injuries.

I would start with Matalino and Twal as props with McQueen and Tayor second rowers and
Eisenhuth as lock.
