Mbye is a good defender mate . If anything we just got better defensively , and sacrifice our attack. Put him next to Cini , and AD , and that’s a stronger defensive structure there .

Brooks covering for Joey with Garner on the inside , and Luci next to AD , Mbye covering for Cini.
I actually like it .
If it works , it might be hard for Roberts and and TalU to get a run in a few weeks

Unfortunately for the team it isn't true.

He was consistently one of the worst defenders all last year. Statistically he was a horror show. His "good defence" is a forum myth.

Gold Coast will run around him, through him and over him.

If you have some statistics then post them. Typing the word statistics does not prove anything.

It is great to have Liddle on the bench and with everyone going on about mybe and his defence did you actually watch some of the tackles he made against the dragons where he forced errors...
Liddle made 31 tackles in KOE cup and still missed 7. That is a defensive liability and he was playing KOE cup.
Simpkin starting with Liddle off the bench should work but Liddle needs to up his defensive game. On NRL stats he is still up there with a high missed tackles and has not played for 2 weeks

2 years ago when we beat the Titans 30-18 we were at a big netball tournament in Rockhampton for my daughters rep team

Guess what ...this weekend ...same tournament ..playing Titans again

From memory I think we were 14-0 down after about 20 minutes

I believe so. When he's on he can be quite dangerous.

If I was Madge and subject to how the game is going, I would be telling Liddle his role will be very different off the bench.

He should be instructed to run at least every second set.

I believe so. When he's on he can be quite dangerous.

I agree. Whilst Taylor can be horrible at times. He is one of those players who always plays well against us. Also, he is quite good at exploiting weaknesses on the edges and we all know that is a problem for us.
