I don't get how you'd have Jennings in the team over Momo though. Maybe Jennings is due to have a blinder? Maybe the Momo Grant swap is still on, and he doesn't want to risk playing him unless he has to.

And Thompson, well, Madge I think likes to give players a chance to redeem themselves, or maybe he's just really stubborn.

Madge tends to bring guys from injury back slowly if he can. Jennings did everything right besides getting the ball down when he needed to. Hopefully there’s some changes before kickoff

My take on Momo on the bench is Madge is not convinced about Walters making 80mins at hooker. Gives Walters a break, Reynolds to 9, Doueihi to 6, Momo 4?

The 1, 4, 5 is wrong. Adam is an average centre, Jennings is a useless winger, Thompson is an average fullback when he is at his best.

Doubt any smart coach would drop players who have served them well after one poor game, especially after a win. Can't get the best out of players by wielding the axe at the first sign of a below par performance that would not sit well with any of the players.

Any chance Momo goes to 3 and Doueihi to the halves?

Benji injured himself late..

If you could read the sentence after, besides putting the ball down. I’ve openly been saying he should’ve scored at least one try. He made good metres doing the tough runs, didn’t drop any balls kicked at him and defended well. Just because you don’t like him doesn’t mean he didn’t do anything right. I would prefer Thompson wing and Doueihi fullback

Hopefully sooner rather than later. Thompson is no long term fullback.

I think momo is a good inclusion, solid cover for any injuries and mck and lawrence were used in similar roles on the weekend.

Momo on the bench to cover Benji and a hand injury?
Doehi to 6 and Momo to centre?

Definitely, I'd be playing AD in the halves.

Saints realised their error and Lomax was moved from fullback this week, we should be smart enough to follow suit

Thompson didn't play well but Lomax was woeful and McGregor can't afford many more losses his job depends on it.
Not suggesting he is a great FB or long term solution but he has had better games at FB than last week and I back Maguire knows who at this point is the best man for the job.

My take exactly - although if that is the case i hope its only for a short break. JR was at dummy half a bit against saints in the latter stages and his passing was terrible - he still can't pass from the ground.
