Wonder if we will get a Get to know Shawn Blore article like we did with Hoffman when he came from the reserves to take Talau's spot when he was injured..

Debutantes especially making their NRL debut as well as the MIGHTY Wests Tigers deserve something more than a hr before kick off late in..

If he was going to play it would have been announced after the captains run when Mikale pulled up short. Perfect opportunity to bring him in and he goes with the experienced Clark.
Might of been the plan earlier in the week but don’t think there is a chance unless an injury as he or Seyfarth are the two remaining reserves.
This is his first time being included in the game day squad so good on him! Train the house down son!

The telegraph are reporting there’s a good chance Nathan Brown and Maika Sivo will miss tonight games, have until an hour before kickoff to prove their fitness.

Hopefully Brad Arthur sends them out to run a marathon to prove their fitness.

Bit of talk Matterson isn't right yet or Sivo

Something isn't right. Been agreeing with happy a lot recently...

with so many players out, if we stay close and competitive would be like 30 points win! Go Tigers!

My 5 year old son was asking when we play last night. I told him we play today but we have lots of injured players so we might not win. He told me as long as we have our best player, the guy with the pony tail, we’ll win.

After a bit of confusion I got a team photo and he pointed out Luciano Leilua, “that’s the guy dad, he’s the best”.

No pressure Luch, but it’s all up to you ?

My 4 year old daughter goes for the refs because of the colours they wear. That means she backs the one team that can never lose. How could you pass the tigers gene on mate? Think of your son's future...

Well my eldest goes for the Roosters and his favourite player is Tedesco but I don’t talk about that ?

Any chance of rain tonight?

With the outs we have a wet track could possibly favour us as I think Parra hate a slog fest. If it’s a dry track Parra have the license to throw the ball around and I don’t think we’d have the answers to stop it

Gotta shut down their offloads it’s one of their main weapons. Matterson and Paulo are two of the best for it.

Clear blue skies.

I really love the fact that Madge isn’t pushing our players to play injured. I.e Mikaele, Garner and Twal. Yet the Eels have rushed all their stars back.
Maguire is playing the long game this season, which I like. A maybe win tonight is less important then ensuring a certain win next week and building momentum into the knights game. This game has a lot of the smell of the raiders game. Can we push them the distance. I hope if anything we get some confidence and the Eels hurt afterwards.

Ironically this is supposedly why Matterson wanted to leave the Tigers - Madge was too tough on him and was forcing him to play injured, go figure. Either the Tigers have implemented a new protocol as a result of that, or it never actually happened. Maybe he should leave the Eels now too?

Even if they do play hopefully they're not quite up to it. Could be a good thing either way.

Nathan Brown doesn't want to come up against his future team mates 🙂

A lot of attention on MCK and Lawrence. No one seems to be talking about the middle! Parra's middle ran riot on us last year, and they've gutted quite a few teams this year. If we lose the middle, MCK will be heavily exposed. A lot of our players don't make good defensive decisions under pressure. The performance of Russell Packer is likely the point of difference which will determine the result of the game.

We must be strong in defence. Paulo and RCG are in career best form. IDK if we have the troops to stop them. Twal is a big out. Him and Eisenhuth in the middle would've done a great job.

Seems odd if Blore is playing that we haven't announced it, we've made a big deal about debutons all year. If he is playing I actually think it might be in place of Brooks, and that could be why the club hasn't made a big deal over it.

McIntyre didn’t really get a big mention for his debut. They wouldn’t say anything until an hour before the game if it’s happening

Yeah no point in announcing it just yet really. Would probably play more into our favour if anything to have a late addition announced just before the game.

That's very disappointing for the young man..

McIintyre had this released at 6am the day of his debut

Probably depends on the circumstances. We've had a lot of outs, and one very soon before game day, so if he was going to play maybe it's only because Mikaele is out, in which case it would be a bit rushed. If he is going to play I'm sure they'd release some sort of acknowledgement before kickoff.

Difference is he was named in the initial team. Blore only an injury replacement if he plays. I’m sure if he plays they’ll do a write up on him or something. He’s probably not bothered by it at all

I’d be extremely happy if Sivo was ruled out, the creep can stay in though and hopefully cop a bashing or two.
