I'd prefer Talau or even Edene Gebbie on the wing? Our next Koroibete perhaps...

Club wants speed on the wing. Talau not fast enough.

Talau been tried at wing and was not the answer please move on from him, edene just started his preseason.

Everyone was carrying on they didn’t want mansour due to giving aj a go now people are calling for him to be dropped???

Maybe mansour was the right option for us.

I think Tommy could be a very good ball playing lock, similar to Cameron Murray but slightly bigger and faster. Plus he was a 5/8 coming through so has good ball playing skills.

TT - 189cm / 92kg
CM - 184cm / 90kg

Agree, posted that 9 months ago, not many agreed back then. He is a much better option than Twal imo.

Twal played a very tradesman-like game, the no frills kind Bellamy would ask for, we could use a few of his boofhead mates to follow his lead.

Almost every time he ran the ball he hit the line softly, they held him on his feet and walked him slowly while their line was getting set. Looks good on paper with his post tackle metres and he was safe, but compare his play to that of Tamou and Joffa who are fellow props? I like him in the team for what he brings but if we’re looking for areas to improve we can’t just look at players who drop the ball.

While Tamou, Joffa and Twal were doing their thing we were well in the game, then the brain faders got involved. Imagine Bellyache up in the box if his players did some of that stuff. He’d end up in intensive care.

Bellamy would have hooked Garner the minute he done that stupid tackle.

Yep, my guess is he wouldn’t have waited for the O’Brien glass repairers.
Unfortunately we’re a long way off developing that degree of expectation into our culture if we ever will get there?

It’s scary because I’ve watched the Warriors play two games with great discipline and the Knights. Completing high and playing percentage football. Those are two teams we will need to outperform to make the eight. Discipline and smart football are a must these days.

We screwed if intelligence is involved

Cruel but fact: The last time Wests Tigers beat Sydney Roosters at Campbelltown, Daniel Fitzhenry and Lincoln Withers were the halves pairing. The Roosters had Brad Fittler and Brett Finch in the halves

Correct me if I'm dreaming but we beat Roosters at Campbelltown, I think it was Round 1 2018 with a 10 - 8 score line.

Winning try at almost the death by Cory Thompson off a Chee-Kam falcon.

I was there and saw it with my own eyes, still can't believe it though, which is why I am asking if I was dreaming.

Let's bloody hope so..
Lets pack out Cambo

Ofahengaue ready to ramp up the intensity:
"Hopefully we have lots of Members and fans turn up because I know this team is ready to bring it on Sunday because we owe it to the fans from last week."
https://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2021/03/19/ofahengaue-ready-to-ramp-up-the-intensity

If it’s raining there is no way it will be packed out.

Too true Mike, but as someone else has alluded, it's much more important that the players turn up.

If they turn up with a good attitude it will go a long way towards being successful this season.

2018 Round 1 was at Stadium Australia, yes I was there as well, not Campbelltown.

Halftime score was 2 nil in Wests Tigers favour. Luke Brooks was sin binned for 10 minutes as well during that game.

```
Sin Bin (10min) Luke Brooks
Tries Corey Thompson Blake Ferguson
Goals Tuimoala Lolohea (3/4) Latrell Mitchell (2/2)
```

I totally agree Talau or Gebbie would offer more than Kepaoa & I think even Fitzgibbon or Cini could even offer more.

Why do you think that Gebbie who hasn’t played for ages, hasn’t been training with the squad and wouldn’t have an idea on the team could offer more than AJ?

Why do you think Fitzgibbon & Cini who both haven’t shown anything of value so far this year could as well?

AJ is fine. He worked harder than Noffa in round 1, leg drive was great and he beat his outside man when needed too. He also caught a high ball. Sure his bad pass led to a freak try & he mis read a high ball which his inside defenders didn’t defend well. but Talau wouldn’t have beaten the outside man as he doesn’t have the speed and high balls isn’t something he is great at either.

Issue is of the options they aren’t actually better.
Talau doesn’t have the speed
Gebbie has just arrived and isn’t apart of the top 30 he hasn’t even been training yet.

We are very light in the backs.

True but looks like we are a winger short.

Maybe he wasn't - seeing Bennett dropped him after one game.

Was at ANZ

I think we stick with Gebbie to come in around finals time as our game breaker and surprise the other teams in the top 4
