Surprised to see the 2 injured players named, they looked like gonners last night. Funnily enough Ziggy is the ref,hope he pays us back nicely from his mammoth stuff up a few rounds ago.

He lacks the basic self-awareness of a human adult - so that is highly unlikely!!

Be awesome if he isn't, in the sheds he didn't have ice on the ankle so maybe it isn't serious.
On the sidelines towards the end of the game he did have ice wrapped around it.
Normally the removal of the ice indicates it didn't swell up and isn't severe.

Be a huge test to go up against Cook though for a kid his age if he isn't fully fit.

9s don't really play against their opposite in defence or attack...

They just need to provide good service & be an individual threat when playing eyes up footy.

It won't be Simpkin - Liddle or Brooks/Peachey at dummy half who need to contain Cook in defence!

He's clearly a smart - robust & talented kid who has too many knockers from the team "fan base" for a player who is developing nicely at NRL level!

High ankle sprain is not a multiple week injury if managed properly!

Jake should be back next round if not this week.

I resent that statement greatly,all Ziggys arent the same True Tiger aka Ziggy is courteous,respectful,loving to his fellow humans AND knows a fair bit about our great game...I did say in another thread that with Hastings back in the team,he will LEAD the team to victory against the EELs.......played well,lead well and kicked the final fg sealing victory for us....yeah baby....🙂👍

If you live in Sydney I urge you to go out on Saturday, they really deserve a good crowd after that performance. If you've never been to commbank, ignore all this rubbish about it being a terrible venue. It's a fantastic venue and it's a night game so the dreaded sun won't get ya.

I would just promote Gildart to the wing - I think Toa showed enough to warrant leaving him at centre.

Now is the time to get Souths. They're hardly setting the world alight and Latrell is out. If the boys are serious they will show up with the same attitude from last weekend and they should expect the same result.

That's where the optimism ends. They've let us down so many times before that I can't get excited about a repeat performance.

I think it's more like you've grown a coat of armour CB over the years to protect you from disappointment.
We still have our rare days where we feel a high level of intoxication and pure ecstacy of winning against all odds.

I'll play the devil's advocate here and say that TM is improving.
I think it is a confidence thing with him.
He has the build and ability to show some mongrel but hides in his shell.
If someone can get in his ear and inject him with some adrenaline and rev him up he'd be a real asset.
Once again, if he went to the storm Bellamy would have him playing like a bull.
His improvement maybe that Cayless has got into his ear....time will tell I guess.
