As I said in earlier thread, Joe O not an edge backrower. Happy to finally see him get a go at lock as he does offer more ball playing than any of the other forwards there. Also stoked to see Garner back starting and eagerly awaiting another Joey Leilua disasterclass

Amone worked very hard although a lot was without impact... he could probably do Seyfarth's job though? Blore needs more time to get back into the swing of things.

Tawl at prop big yes - should always play there he has never been a lock.

Joe isn’t a backrower, maybe a roving lock role could suit. He is actually one player trying week in week out.

Seyfarth on the bench is stupid. He is not an impact or hold player. Swap him for Amone and Liddle for Mbye and will be happy with the bench.

Mmbye can cover halves and centre and hooker and lock he probably stays
Unfortunately he hasn’t learnt how to cover tackle, if he did he would probably top the tackle count

Chee Kam not being there is a major improvement. Joey is probably just as bad defensively but at least he can do some damage running the footy

Roberts was out on the wing at times last week. I would like to see Joey at left centre with Roberts on the left wing with Talau at right centre inside Nof.

AD also needs to vary his game more. His running game will be more effective if the opposition don't know if he will run, pass outside or grubber through the line.

Why surely? There is a lot of denial in this forum lately. It's sad. Joey is long gone. How many more chances goes he get? And if he plays one good game, does that make up for the season and a half that he's plodded around for?

With the exception of Laurie, i would replace the whole backline. They know how to attack and defend, bring up the coach as well.

A couple of sensible changes with swapping Twal, Joe O and promoting Garner back to starting. Would have thrown Mbye in the centres ahead of JTJ who was diabolical last week and put Liddle on the bench to give Simpkin a break. The bench does have a slightly better balance than last week though.

He was playing very well until he went of with the HIA a few weeks ago. Fixing our game breaking players is much better than just swapping them with fringe players. I wish it was easier to do.

It shows our lack of depth there. They were hoping Joey and Jimmy could find some form and both have failed.

I wish I had your optimism. He won't see out the year in first grade and I wouldn't be surprised if this Sunday was his last game. Actually, I would tbh. He's protected for some reason.
