Author Dan Talintyre Timestamp Fri 4 May 2018, 05:28 PM

Wests Tigers Head Coach Ivan Cleary has updated his 19-man squad to take on the New Zealand Warriors tomorrow for their Round 9 clash at Mount Smart Stadium.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:30pm AEST (7:30pm local) with live coverage via Fox League.

Cleary has confirmed that Matt McIlwrick and Tyson Gamble will not feature on Saturday with the two players dropping out of the squad. Tim Grant (18) and Malakai Watene-Zelezniak (21) both travelled to New Zealand with the 19-man squad and have been retained as reserves for tomorrow's game.

Elijah Taylor (concussion) has been cleared to return and will start the match at lock forward with Matt Eisenhuth returning to the middle, while Pita Godinet will start at hooker in place of Jacob Liddle.

Last week's club debutant, Mahe Fonua, has retained his spot on the left wing.

For the Warriors, Coach Stephen Kearney has confirmed no changes as such yet with Isaac Luke still named to start the match at hooker despite coming off last week with a knee injury.

Utility Karl Lawton has been retained on the bench for his club debut, with Sam Cook and Anthony Gelling dropping out of the squad. Mason Lino and Albert Vete remain as reserves.

Final team lists for both sides will be confirmed one hour before kickoff (Saturday, 4:30pm AEST).

Whos the refs?

Referees: Ben Cummins, Grant Atkins
Sideline Officials: Chris McMillan, Phil Henderson
Video Referees: Ashley Klein, Luke Patten

I'm expecting to be game managed out of another two points by the refs. Some well timed piggy back penalties and one sided 50:50 calls should get the desired result. We should know about 20 minute in whether we will be allowed to influence the result.

My thoughts exactly. Not keen playing the 1 team towns as its good for the NRL if those teams win.

Would like Mcilwrick in but boy do we need a win for confidence against the cowboys next week, wish i could get to leichhardt next thursday

Pita needs a good one or he should captain ISC for the rest of the year

Are you already writing us off this week?

Wests Tigers NRL Head Coach Ivan Cleary has finalised his side to take on the New Zealand Warriors tonight for their Round 9 clash at Mount Smart Stadium.

Kickoff for the match is at 5:30pm AEST (7:30pm local Auckland time).

Cleary has confirmed one late change to the team originally named during the week with Josh Aloiai replaced in the squad by Tim Grant, who played his first game of the year last week against Parramatta.

Elijah Taylor is the big inclusion for the visitors after missing last week's game with a concussion sustained back in Round 7, and will start the match at hooker with Pita Godinet dropping back to the bench.

That also sees Matt Eisenhuth start at lock, with Sauaso Sue earning a start in the front row.

Benji Marshall will formally captain the team tonight for the third time this season.
