but yes, it's awesome news

Kul, i thought that link(to the other thread) was about Balmain Ryde east woods sponsor, so i did not look at it as the our state cup side are separate for the NRL side.

This is why i started this thread.

I agree it is good news the Club is on the up.

Jump in an ix35 Demps, you might be surprised!

I've driven an i20 and so on, good to drive… it's just the brand its self.
never liked the brand, along with kia & dhaihatsu(?)
but it's a good sponsor to have I guess, always on a current affairs best value for money cars to purchase, etc.

I like Hyundai. My last 2 cars have been Hyundais. Never had a problem… Put it this way - I'd be much happier test driving one of their cars for free stuff that the Proton I once had to...

Protons are Malaysia, you see them every now & then on Australian streets… but not often.
the parts are expensive & over all not a great car.
maybe in Malaysia.

Hyundai > Proton

Awesome news off the field!!!

Now its time to perform where it counts & it all starts Monday Night against the puppy dogs!

PS Benji!! no matter what buddy the mighty wests tiger :sign: community will always have your back covered!!

Following on from CEO Stephen Humphreys' comments on Sunday at the Balmain AGM in regards to the new ‘back-of-jersey’ sponsor being announced this week, [whispers](http://www.weststigersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6517#p151483) across WestsTigersForum.com have suggested that Hyundai would be that company.

“We’ve held off until we found the right sponsor for the right price,” Mr Humphreys said at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday morning.

Wests Tigers have confirmed that a “Major announcement” will be made on Thursday, suggesting that Hyundai or another company will be revealed as the new ‘back-of-jersey’ sponsor.

UPDATE: Hyundai has been confirmed as the new 'back-of-jersey' sponsor. Details are pending…

Top work if true.
I've been driving Hyundai's for 5 or 6 years. Now driving a 2010 Santa Fe R.
150k's a day on mixed surfaces dirt/ rural highway/ city (well, canberra).
Very easy/ comfortable drive, better economy AND torque than anything anywhere near it's class, opens up any firetrail type tracks etc. you're interested in, huge internal carrying capacity and unbreakable.

& now they sponsor the Tiges :slight_smile:

Great news, and a great match Hyundai and the Tigers both heading in the right direction.
I think the excel has left a bad taste in peoples mouths for Hyundai but they have been producing some pretty good vehicles in recent years much better quality and performance and value than their competitors.

holden( australian )= general motors owned went nearly bust
ford= american owned nearly bust
toyota = reliability
hyundai= tiger tuff 5 years unlimited warranty they'll do me
