Where was the leadership and talk from Hastings that we heard about all off season?
The game was pretty good considering our new players and a few mistakes,Im happy with that performance as long as they strive to improve...I only have one gripe..why did Brooks keep kicking when he couldnt convert...Hastings would have kicked with a bit more confidence...If Brooks had of kicked the first 2 conversions the pressure would have been right on Melb...once again we are trying to make a hero of Brooks when common sense would have been a better choice...

Seriously ,what did he do out there ? He laid good early ball on …. And that’s about it .
When AD comes back he will be a good 13. His defence is strong , he’s dynamic , and a strong ball runner .
AD , is way more dangerous . The stepping inside , for a falling tackler to create space , doesn’t happen anywhere near as much in the nrl as it does in SL.
It’s like smashing teams on madden by 50 on the second highest level before you move up to the highest .

Tell me you believe our goal line defence has improved? The Broncs demonstrated great intent with their goal line defence last night. This is Maguire's fourth year and not beyond the realm of reality to expect him to at least improve this aspect of our game.
