Adam Doueihi came off with a minor upper leg complaint against the Panthers but Maguire insisted it was only a precaution. Centre Paul Momirovski (ankle) is unlikely to be included but is on track for a round one return.

Long way and costly exercise to have a trial over in NZ are Tigers getting a kick back or anything out of it other then a game of footy? Considering if have fair few nrl clubs near us seems a bit silly

Not sure about a kickback, but it'd be a good bonding opportunity for the squad. Probably a good thing seeing as we have so many new faces.

Well unless we upgrade him he can't play NRL so I'm guessing if we pick our strongest squad available with Rd 1 in mind that would sound about right

The squad should be fairly easy to guess. We’re taking 23 so 6 of the 29 miss out. Liddle, Momirovski, Packer and Smith are injured so who’s the 2 least likely to be there for round 1?
