Wests Tigers Youngsters

voted tedesco… for now.

i think sirronen will end up being a great talent in the backrow in the future, but he's still 18\. he needs a couple more years in the NYC at BACKROW. dont stuff him around playing at 5/8 imo.

if you do want him at 5/8.. play him at 5/8 his entire career, not a "he will move into the backrow later in his career".. otherwise, he will be a jack of all trades, master of none.

if tedesco pulls up from his freakish injury OK... i think he will be one of the greatest fullbacks for WTs.

koro could be the X-factor. one thing im scared of him is the consistency in which he can at his best... something tigers always lack.

POLL
Who do you think is our most promising youngster?
Curtis Sironen
Marika Koriobete
Jacob Miller

Pretty poor imo of the club having people vote on juniors…..it possibly could harm some players confidence

Experienced veterans yeh no probs, not impressionable immature young blokes

Stupid poll anyway...ridiculous, theyre mainly all playing different position - some have several NRL games experience and much more exposure, others have none...whoever did this should be sacked

They have highlighted the three that most fans know about.

In my opinion, Nofoaluma and Fotuaiki have the potential to be better. Hope the new coach gives them a chance early on in 2013!

Or the winner could get an ego the size of the Australian outback, and walk around like Billy Big Bollux thinking he's already made it. As you said Ink, stupid poll, the club should have more smarts than this

Mosese will be the next to play NRL… I love his domestic work and feel he could be a real weapon close to the line.

Love him or hate him, Warren found a good one here!

If that was enough to dent their confidence, they'd be nigh on suicidal reading the comments on here after a loss. Somehow I think they'll manage.

maybe it's just me but not sure why everyone has such massive raps on tedesco. I'm sure he is great and obviously good enough for sheens to pick him week one but until I can actually watch him play I won't get ahead of myself with all the hype.

IMO this poll should have three clear winners, only because they've actually played first grade that being Sirro, Koro and Miller. I'd also rank them in that order.

Miller has gotten the job done at toyota cup level for a couple of years and should be in first grade next year, Koro obviously has the physical attributes to make it in first grade and once he gets a couple errors out of his game will be on the Uate level (probs better tackling) but I think Sirro is clearly the scariest talent we have by a mile and should win this poll hands down.

Not only does he have the skills to be the best most promising 5/8 in the country but he is also a monster and keeps growing. he really has the potential to be the best at our whole club in 5 years if not in the whole state/country. yes he'll probably end up a lock and just think about what a luxury it will be having a guy like him on board. I think he will be like Luke Lewis with a (much) better passing game.

I think its just you but I would prefer Tedesco comes back without all the media attention.Tedesco wasn't in the mix but excelled at pre season training and again in the trials and demanded to be selected.
Sironen another one who is able to do what the coach asks even if it means handling the ball only 5 times in the game.
Koriobete is a work in progress and hopefully can only get better.
For all the talk about Miller Sheens thought he had problems in his game and wasn't NRL standard yet.
Miller obviously had to did something or improve a part of his game to be selected. We needed a 7 he is a 7 but he wasn't selected.
One thing Sheens could do very well was identify NRL talent.

yeah obviously an issue not selecting him when we needed a 7 but again he keeps making aussie and NSW squad for 20s and origin. Wasn't sheens talent spotting also responsible for people like John Grant coming over which in another thread seems like a bit of a mistake?

The way everyone is carrying on Tedesco is already a mix of Jack , Dorahy and Brasher.
The kid has played 30 minutes of first grade in which he was solid but not spectacular.
I really hope everybody is not expecting too much of him - especially after such a bad injury.

If Moltzen is anything to go by it's a two year injury as well. one year to get back on your feet, another to get back to full pace.
