* First I would get all of the old boys from both Balmain and Wests to their favoured areas
(Wests = Campbelltown Oval, Balmain = Leichardt Oval)

* Secondly, gather all the players on the bus and head to one area at a time (example, drive to Campbelltown first, Leichardt Second and Concord last.

* Ensure the clubhouses are decked out in a "Premiership" type of way, with club colours, balloon's and everything you could possibly think, make it premiership like which shocks people.

* Have the boys walk into the club, shake hands with the greats of each desired clubs and talk about the History , the toughness, resilience and desire to wear the jersey, what it means to play NRL and pretty much their club level stories and times they came across hard times and good times..

* Once the boys have went to both of the foundation clubs, they make their way to Concord or wherever you want to place the Wests TIgers clubhouse.. - here you will have the likes of everyone, both Balmain, Magpies and Wests Tigers players gathered to talk about the club in even more depth, food and drinks and go from there.

I could keep going and going, but you get it.

Really, the TEAM needs to be ONE.

We have a rich history that needs to be echoed and we need to ACT like a premiership TEAM.

If this means decking out the change rooms before each game to ensure that this is WHAT the club is about then do that..

just need to show everyone, even the players especially, this is the Wests Tigers that has over 100 years of history behind us with a new face of Wests Tigers.

I love this idea !!!! This is the best post I’ve read in a while . Even get a bunch of supporters in to create an atmosphere , and love of the club as bay could resemble that Sunday night in October .

Imo instead of whinging we should look for the void and aim to better the situation.
Does the team need a whisperer like teddy’s got to give the team cuddles.

From memory think he did it a couple of times but that long ago I’m not certain. Kiama does ring a bell though but I knew a girl there many years ago aswell

As for your statement, I would think Manly would be more worried about this type of thing than us, the Bronc’s are getting another team in the area (supposedly), they are a basket case and getting worse, a new team is going to drain there talent pool, they would be a bit worried too I would think? The NRL don’t seem to worried about it?

Why on Earth anyone signs Bennett is beyond me. Outside of his time at the Broncos with a gem of a team, his record isn't that that great. And that ended an awful long time ago.

He was a calamity at Newcastle, and his coaching of the England team was bizarre. The poms thought he was a lunatic.

Didn’t write anything about what you are stating, but maybe there’s a reason why the Broncos have lowballed Staggs offer compared to the market?

Previous years are history, it’s whats happening in the future is what everyone should be looking at.

But I do agree, we have a couple of important signings to be made this year, hopefully we do get it right.
