Move doueihi to 6
Bring kiah cooper in to that centre spot
Or put him on the wing and move Jimmy in
Or could've brought in cini too
Anything
But
Walters at 6

Was never confident in that at all

Will be interesting to see how we line up next week with whatever injuries and suspensions we have

there is an old saying "you dont weaken one position to strengthen another"

The real problem is that Walters is the best we have depth wise. The kid thought he could actually play football instead of playing basic link man and making his tackles. Lets hope his dad still wants him and we can upgrade him.

Well we weakened the halves by not using the best halves option we had

Walters is a typical Melbourne player. Limited skills, but can be utilised within a set structure.

If you are looking at him to lead your side or stand-out, you are looking at the wrong player.

Generally a bit harsh on Walters across the forum today.

I'd hate to see everyone here on their first day back at work after a major illness and then being asked to take on a major task like he did today. Gotta put a bit of blame on Maguire for that. Walters wasn't good, yeah, but has he ever been? And was he the difference in us winning and losing? God, no.

I think there were a few issues today. Firstly the constant reshuffle, you can see we struggle to adapt to change.
Adding the mauler will make a difference imo. Let's jtj to move back to centre. Tommy t needs to go back reserves and work on consistency.
I feel like seyfarth may deserve a starting spot I just can't decide who for.
6 is a big issue, Walters looked a few yards behind the pace. Mbye has been a good link man but we need another kicker playmaker.
Again a big issue is our centres not getting early ball. The last two weeks douhei has not got a ball early and he is good enough to do.work when he gets it

And the most controversial choice is liddle. I don't think he can play 80mins. Every game he makes and absolutely inexcusable mistake. I think he has played ok of late and less time.could maybe help with mistakes. If not off to reggies like to.my to work on consistency.

I'm a Jimmy fan but I doubt he is a starter by years end. I love his energy and leadership and think its needed but our young bulls need more time.

We probably lose against souths and if we lose any more after that personally I think we blood the young lads and see a What we have

Yeh.. might be worth bringing Zach dockar clay in

Harsh on Walters. Yeah he was clearly bad but did you notice the opposition offloads and how they annihilated our defence. That's what good forwards do.

There is also a very old saying..”person who chases 2 rabbits catches neither.”
No need to change many positions when only one is required.

Very harsh.

Yah he was terrible - but one bad game (in first grade) doesn't wash away his decent performances in first grade in the past. I wouldn't have him in my 17 don't get me wrong, but hes done some nice things off the bench for us in the past.

If he could build off his previous stint in firsts, there's a spot for him somewhere in the NRL. Hopefully at the Broncos.
