When I arrived at school today all my friends kept saying to me how the Tigers suck and kept rubbing the salt into the wounds after our heavy defeat on Sunday.

I was just wondering if there is anything I can say to shut them up or to promote our club.

Thanks, I just can't stand people saying to me how the tigers suck and not having anything to say back.

Mate unless you win the most recent game OR the person bagging you out supports the team at the bottom of the ladder (this will be us tonight) there are no real come backs.
As a school teacher there isn't much I can say when kids give it to me about the Tigers, so over the years I came up with the following:
I just say laugh it off put my poker face on and say "mate they'll lose plenty more games this year other than that one, cant get upset about that"… then I usually say "you don't really know how to come at me do you lol"...
That usually takes the wind out of their sails to go with it like that..
