I guess I look forward to relaxing with a show I enjoy when it's on.
But at this stage in my life, I'm not living 'in the moment' so much as living for the moments to come. Building a business, my partner lives in Wales & is moving here soon..ish... everything I guess I look forward to isn't an 'everyday' type thing.
And as I type this I realise how sad that sounds! Not looking for sympathy. This is just the stage I'm at. A lot of you seem to be in much sounder situations with yourselves right now, and that's amazing.
When playing intense chess absolutely nothing comes into one's mind, 10 hours can pass by with out eating. Best thing when dieting because can forget completely about food.
I know a couple of ex's that would benefit from extreme chess then..
Hahaha. PMSL at that Chadman!
Knocking off from work early and having a game of golf with plenty of beers for the trip round the course. Not much better than being out on the tranquility of a golf course, sitting under a tree having a cold beer with your best mates.
Miss surfing, haven't had one for about 2 years, determined to get back into it this winter (if the wetsuit still fits around the guts!)
Nice food is always appreciated…..especially lasagne and spaghetti bol.
Listening to my 5 year old invent weird new sayings and words is always a fun time, like the time I saw him in the shower laughing and touching his willy....I laughed and said what are you doing and he replies "I'm playing doodle-guitar!" Haha.
Watching the Tiges is my emotional release as such, yelling full bore at the telly is very therapeutic but highly insane according to my missus!
Getting greeted by my beaut dog when I wake up, get home etc and watching her go ballistic when she knows she is going to the park for a run around. Dogs are awesome creatures.
And getting on the forum having a chat about WT, whinging about other clubs, refs etc is always good for a chuckle.
