The team doesn't learn from their mistakes. Loss of concentration is a by-product of this.

Lack of Size and this is across the park we seem a small club.

However from a club point of view it is lack of professionalism over time (although has got much better last 2 years) - Crap training facilities, 3 home grounds when it should be 1, lack of sponsors that arent just fans who own stuff and until this year promotion of individual matches was poor

Every time we as a team do something well, we let the other side off the hook with a penalty.

e.g. we kick to the corner and trap the fullback 2 meters out from his line. We have a good kick chase ready to demolish the opposition who are struggling to get back onside to take hitups and….marker penalty.

Absolutely infuriates me.

if they are not going to play at home grounds how are fans going to connect with their local team? Via the pokies. I have never understood about how Aussies follow English soccer teams, they probably don't even follow Aussie soccer teams. It looks stupid on TV seeing about 50,000 empty seats at Homebush with no atmosphere. I get more home atmosphere watching the Byron Bay local team. But of course money talks so…

I'll tell you why…...

Australia has never had a decent soccer League , they've had the NSL and A-League which is equivalent to Division 2 in England . IMO
They have never had real quality players at there peak of there Careers , they've had Alessandro del Piero , Harry Kewell , Brett Emerton , Cullina etc to name a few but they joined the League when they were at least 35 years old and that's where the Australian League loses credibility .
Fans want to see players from Europe playing in this League at there prime , but reality is it will never happen as the money in Europe is far more Superior than here .

I don't follow the A League and find it a boring brand of soccer to watch , it would be awesome to see the Australian League one Day start bringing players at there peak but it will never happen.

Because the standard of play in the A league is amateurish

The way we can put 20 points on a team in the space of 20 minutes and then concede 30 points in the space of 15…..Ahhhhhhhh this club does my head in!

The fact that salary cap dramas are still listed as an obstacle to recruitment and retention and yet we do not seem to be able to field a side of proven first graders.

The 5mins either side of halftime, for some reason we just always conceed points during this time.

It just shows our attitude, physical match fitness and team work isnt in place for the full game.

2 out of 2 games since original post that we have done this…. And it happens terribly as well.
