someone please explain - Sironen & Teddy named to make their debuts for City, yet they cant crack first grade at Wests Tigers.
What is going on here?
Do you see the paradox.
it speaks buckets about our coach dont you think?
Would it be a farce if Sironen goes back to state cup and will teddy remains on the wing.
Will all these representative selections cause waves and rock Potters boat?
Does Potters boat need rockin?

What's the drama? Neither were regular first graders before this year. Both are young. Both had long term injuries last year, so what's wrong with bringing them along slowly. It's easy for Freddy to play who he wants, he doesn't have to worry about anything other than 1 game

if they go well it would influence Potter no doubt… if Teddy carves up at fullback at rep level it'll leave Moltzen a bit stranded

Mate I think there's method in this madness to be honest. First, Tedesco and Sironen were selected as replacements so aren't that highly thought of. However, both are young players with junior rep experience who've been identified as future origin players by the NSWRL, who have also had some first grade experience.

Myself, I believe they've both gotten the gig because of the above and that if your not selecting guys who are genuine origin hopefuls this year, well then you may as well start looking these younger players identified as future origin players. The experience they gain from the week, from playing the game, working with coaches and interacting with other players will be invaluable to their development. Not to mention the confidence any young player gains from the week.

Now this relates to Potter and Wests Tigers only by the benefit these young guys get from the week. I don't believe it's a reflection of any bad team selections by Potter. Tedesco and Moltzen is obviously a questionable issue but Moltzen hasn't done that badly this season and Tedesco's having to gain his experience on the wing. In Sirro's case, we have a plethora of backrowers and in Benji and Braith, a wealth of experience at 5/8.

Both were brought back slowly from injury with a view to long term health and development for their career.

Freddy blowing his load early and selecting them says NOTHING about our coach. It only says that we have some great talent on hand to work with.

I think we are all suffering a post-sheens hangover. We all invest emotionally in our club and he basically controlled our moods for 10 years, the ups and downs.

Potter is a very different operator. At least, he seems to be building up to something very different. The real stars of our team, Robbie and Woods have responded well to this. The rest are being sorted out I think, and that might mean some guys get brought on more slowly. Remember he saw them for a whole off season, trains them, analyses their game etc… And he may well be telling them what his plans are.

I for one hope he sticks to his guns and doesn't feel compelled to pick them if it isn't the best thing for the team (in his opinion). If this time next year we are losing 4 out of every 6 games then its his job that goes, not mine, but we have to give him an opportunity as fans to work out his vision for the team and get them there.

Is what a coincidence?

Actually you would be the only person who could help in this situation.

If I can't decipher the question, its hard to answer it.
