What is the difference??

The difference? There was no opposing player's boot in the frame of Lawrence's try, so he couldn't rule that it was knocked forward into anything during the grounding.

But he was on the opposite side to where the opposing player was. How could he see which direction the ball went other than Tedesco's wrist?
