What made me happy

The defense.

I cant recall the last time i saw a better defensive effort than that.

Real starch and numbers in defense and it didnt stop.

A full 80 mins against a team with some real weapons and they didnt stop.

And…....every time a real effort was needed BANG....they responded.

I reckon there were about 10 critical tackles that had to be made, and they all were, And not just tackles but bashed them as well......Brooksie did a couple, so did Bunji, Rooo chow and Mats as well.

So stoked we have a scrapping team that puts body on line....well done IC and the boys.

There were quite a few Rooster players grimacing in pain when we tackled them. Haven't seen that for a very long time.

The defence looke more composed. Seemed like there was confidence in each other to make the one on one tackles. Significant improvement.
