What position did you play?

played 2nd row in union @ school & lock & 2nd row on weekends in league & loved a stink, it was good fun when you had a good big pack with you.

Started playing in the centres of the might st clair comets and then went to second row playing for patrician brothers blacktown, and then moved to the front row after that as i grew taller. Im 198cm tall but was too slow to play second row when i got into older divisions of rugby league, so the coach moved me to the front row.

Played Lock in under 20s:Mostly outside centre in A grade with some games as fullback, lock, and hooker ( that was an experience) and sometimes off the bench in an era of high tackles/stiffarms/dump tackles/some punches. That washow it was played back then, with unlimited tackles and hookers had to win the ball in the scrums….

left centre. i played against will hopoate, and ill admit, he absolutely schooled me off one scrumplay. he got on the outside of me with some good footwork, than huge fend to my chest

league - left winger/fullback. was never tall enough or big enough build, but had fun.
soccer left winger/fullback-

When I was a kid I was big for my age and played second row/ prop and won a Premiership for Bathurst RSL in the U/12's and was runner up for Bathurst Railway in the U/16's in 1975.
When the club was struggling in the late 80's I played winger but had a couple of memorable appearences off the bench as a second rower in 1991.

packed down at the back of the scrum in union

only touch footy these days, If I were to play union or league now I'd have to play wing or centre

Rugby - Wing/fullback
League - Fullback (loved every bit of it)
Soccer - Wing/striker and I've played a bit of keeper
