Truly wonderful pop music is something to enjoy though. There are the occasional blips on the formulaic radar of the pop world and they are very good.

Problem is pop is more about image now than substance of talent. The 80's are hated for alot of good reasons but the late 70's and early 80's saw alot of truly talented pop artists. People who may not have had the look but had talent up the ying yang. In today's marketplace you would never had heard of them.

Anyway I will stop or my ranting will continue.
