Celldweller - The Flight of Icarus

They have an interesting style but isn't it 'The Wings Of Icarus'? The Flight Of Icarus is Iron Maiden.

Listening to the new Amity Affliction album today. Not too bad.

They're touring Aus in September too

Parkway Drive - Home is for the Heartless

R.I.P. the mighty ISIS. Listening to Wavering Radiant (album)

Getting back into Tool, loved Lateralus and of course the first two but 10000 days i couldn't get into. Starting to get it now!!

If anyone on here loves metal with a bit of progression and melody can recommend Baroness, Mastodon & High On Fire \m/!!

My mistake, either way Klayton is a musical genius when it comes to programming and playing multiple instruments.

Killswitch are unreal, I've them a couple of times. Howard Jones is unreal live. He stood on top of an 8 metre amp stack and high fived the crowd on the third level at the Horden Pavilion, and then proceeded to stagedive into the mosh pit at their last concert. Adam Dutkewicz comes out dressed in his "Captain Douche" outfit. Hilarious stuff.

Another fantastic band is Static-X, seen them every time they've been out. They've got so much energy.

Yeah I've got a lot of Static-X from a friend, just need to get round to giving it a listen.

I went to Warped Tour on the weekend in New York. So freaking amazing. The US know how to put on a good festival. Every band there had their own tent set up to do signings and sell their merch individually rather than at one huge merch stand.
Warped is such a huge tour. They do something crazy like 50 dates over two months across the states. This means each show has a small-ish crowd when compared to Big Day Out and Soundwave back in Aus, but still has a huge line up spanning 7 stages. Got to meet so many of the bands as they came off stage/at their signings. Such a good day.

Anyone a fan of Soulfly here?

Yeah they are awsome
Im going to the roundhouse gig later on in the year
I love everything Max has done.Listening to Sepultura bring back so many memories of my teen years

Anyone here into dubstep at all?

I've heard of a couple of Skream songs, but I don't really get the genre.

It can't compete with a Mstrkrft or a Justice IMO.

And I'm currently listening to Valentine followed the tthhee ppaarrttyy by Justice. Wish I was around for when he was huge in the early 2000's.
