When I was coming through, the guys with tats were the assorted hard-nuts and criminals that hung out in dive bars. They’d show them off in pubs or at parties where they were extending invitations to other rough-nuts that they were looking to punch-on. They weren't called tough stickers by accident.

These days they are an accessory for fake tough guys in childrens t-shirts, driving jacked up Raptors with surgery enhanced girlfriends in the passenger seat.
They all look identical...no expressions of individuality, just one of the pack. It’s weird alright.

Tattoos were associated with Tough nuts or Culture significance.
The art has come such a long way,lots of art students get into it nowadays.Gone are the days were shops had to be associated with 1%s just to stay in business.
It’s pretty crazy,most young people have at least one Tatt,which is totally acceptable.
Not to mention how lucrative it is,a good artist would make 220-300 an hour,with some being booked out years in advance.

Why the full sleeve on one arm only though? It’s not artistic to copy everyone else is it?

Was an army thing about 10yrs ago.
No tatts anywhere else, just a [This word has been automatically removed]ing koi fish and flower sleeve.
Before that it was dudes getting clooneys dusk till dawn tat
