Couple of good choices there mate with Flaming Lips, Whiter Shade Of Pale and this one. Have been meaning to get around to listening to a few of Mastodon's other albums, have only heard Crack The Skye and it was good?

I agree with sausagesorcerer that Blood Mountain is Mastadon's best album, but I also like Leviathan (particularly the tracks Blood and Thunder, and Hearts Alive). I think that was their first album.

Love this song and album.its a close second to Blood Mountain

Their singer is also their drummer huh? He hasn't got the best voice but still that's a fair effort because he's a bloody good skinsman.

I have just been completely blown away by watching Wagakki Band playing in a live performance on youtube(2015).I wish i had the ability to upload it.I have never seen or heard of them before but it was absolutely brilliant(watched it 4-5 times).If anybody could put it on here i would appreciate it.

They all sing! He only started on Crack the Skye
Their earlier albums,the bassist and guitarist share the duties.
They are some what of an acquired taste but as their career has rolled in they have adopted a more straight foward sound
