EASY, TIGER

Wests Tigers is taking its off-field training almost as seriously as its on-field action, hiring the deportment expert Anna Musson to take players such as new recruit Lote Tuqiri through intensive tutelage. PS hears the dainty Musson will be teaching the boofy footballers how to ''enter a room with confidence'', ''canape etiquette'' and the very handy class in ''how much to drink''.

😱pen_mouth:

Canape Etiquette ?

What's next...... :unamused:

Hi everyone

I would have thought most of them had mothers who should have taught them such things - but I must say I didn't teach my sons "canape etiquette". Does that mean only picking up one at a time using only two fingers??

I might have to join the classes!!

Has to be a gee-up, surely.

Was the first news item when I searched google news for Wests Tigers related news items! lol

this is a good move

Rugby Union teams/players are sought out by big business because the players can string words together, act appropriately in public and exert a professional, respectful presence. This doesn't happen with RL players.
This sounds like a another great move by Humph!

Yeh cause I can really see Taniela need help in entering a room confidently. :unamused:

I'd say he enters one any damned way he likes.

Theyre footy players for chrissakes

They did this a couple of years back with June Daly watkins people. I remember seeing the story when they signed a sponsorship with Myer.

Probably a good thing, means the guys are confident around corporates and presents a great image conside4ring the negative spin the media puts on them.,

its all about presentation. dress well, be confident and speak well.
good idea from the boss, lets wait and see which players benefit the most from it.

Maybe they are preparing for their next lesson on how to give post match interviews after winning the grand final…

All I want is for them to concentrate on their own footy, personal goals and fitness. Keep out of trouble and meet their commitments. Who cares how they enter a room hahahaha

The NRL and Refs should just get together to rig it for us on account of our boys being well behaved 'gentlemen'. Image is good, win/win for them and us (screw everyone else :smiley🙂.

Big picture wise it is a very prudent move

Agree. A lot can be said about the way a person carries themselves and interacts with others in public.
