What would our team line up be like if we had another coach?

I do respect Sheens as Tigers coach but if any top rated first grade coach was the Wests Tigers coach do you think he would pick the same players in the same line up? We have a hooker on the bench, halfback playing hooker, 5/8 playing Half, a centre playing 5/8 and keeping Lote in firsts? With out the Sheens bashing as this question is more on how other coaches would select our team based on our talent and form. Good luck.

Massive hypothetical here, coz we don't have another coach. Who knows what would happen if someone else was in charge.

1\. Tedesco
2\. Ryan
3\. Reddy/Aysh
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete
6\. Marshall
7\. Humble/Miller
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Blair
12\. Ellis
13\. Bell

14\. BMM
15\. Moors
16\. Cashmere
17\. Groat or utility depending on game (moltz, humble, utai, fulton etc…)

If we had any coach, other than probably Bennett or Bellamy, the team would look something like this.

1\. Shannon Gallant
2\. Beau Ryan
3\. Blake Ayshford
4\. Rhys Pritchard
5\. Andrew Everingham
6\. Blake Lazarus
7\. Nathan Waters
8\. Bryce Gibbs
9\. Stuart Flanagan
10\. David Gower
11\. Liam Fulton
12\. Josh Davis
13\. Chris Heighington

14\. Jared Farlow
15\. Matt Ryan
16\. David Harris
17\. Alan Shirnack

May seem extreme, but the commitment the players have to the coach is massively underestimated.

Bizarre more like it, but then again, if you can continually play poorly without being dropped, I suppose you're bound to show commitment.

With almost any other coach we'd probably have had a back up dummy half on the bench the last few years instead of a winger or halfback that observes

I doubt Fulton AND Heighno would both be still here, one or both would be gone

Jacob Miller may have had 50 plus NRL games by now and be a confident regular first grader

Either a back up dummy half or another forward.

When the pigs do their job, Fulton is invaluable with the ball, good line runner and can beat his man despite not being particularly big or quick.

The last part is the most important… When Lui was injured and then eventually terminated, Miller would have been the obvious choice to replace him, and most importantly, he'd be allowed to control the game, not be a mere link man in attack and left to piss about on the fringes in defence.

Gallant is useless he plays for one of my local teams he drops a lot of ball and is way to little for first grade

So is Matt Bowen, but he seems to handle it.

Gallant is no Bowen or Preston Campbell , CB.
Big gap in ability there.

Was referring to Melly's comment about Gallants size. Bowen is pint sized, and so was Presto and they both perform(ed) very well at the back.

Gallant is nowhere near either of them in ability.

You know a coach who could stop players getting injured? Sign him up!

This week I think most coaches would go for:
1\. Moltzen
2\. Ryan
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Reddy
6\. Marshall
7\. Miller
8\. Woods
9\. Politoni
10\. Galloway
11\. Blair
12\. BMM
13\. Bell
14\. Fulton
15\. Groat
16\. Cashmere
17\. Moors

Impossible to say.

Whatever my opinions may be on Sheens his work developing the club has been second to none. Decisions to oerpay certain young players to keep them around. Bringing in Galloway when he was on big money for potential. It is all very difficult.

I personally think another coach would have let Heighington walk as Fulton plays a similiar role.

Moltzen would struggle for a NRL spot.

Miller would have been half abck once Lui left.

Josh Davis would have been given a go on the bench

Moors would be playing NRL every week.

If we had either Kearney or Cleary as our coach: Lote would be in Nsw Cup; benji and larwrence would playing in their rightful positions; we'd have a true halfback(not sandow) playing #7!
