What's better than Burt missing the kick?

I felt for Burt. He's a good player and a good guy and i honestly cant believe he missed it. Can anyone remember the last time an opposition player missed an important kick against us?

That crowd behind was priceless. half new he missed and just fell to their seats stunned. was a couple of tigers fans in their cheering too.

Reminded me of the Amco Cup final in 1977 when Fairfax or Schubert missed a similar kick. Being a little fella then, i couldn't see as everyone was standing on the hill. Took a while before it was clear it was the Wests fans cheering. Wests won 6-5

Justice.
Didnt think it deserved a penalty to start with.
Try not to be a poor winner, but seeing Parra fans get so close to actually witness the exact moment approx 15 or 16000 parra fans hearts crushed, broken & shattered simultaneously was rather amusing I must say…hehe

Pratten, I was right in line with fairfax in the old termite stand - I closed my eyes as he moved in, couldnt watch, heard the cheers which I though was for the roosters.....nice surpise to see touchies flags waving it away

half the eels crowd left at 20 6 thats the kinda fans they have then when they come back they think their the greatest of all time

Spot on…

I was absolutely filthy!!! Swearing and yelling... god it was an amazing feeling to watch him miss it!!! Hahaha LOVED IT!!!! SUCKO PARA

How sweet it is!!…... loved it, though had about 3 heart attacks during the whole match!! Deserved revenge, and all those penalties they milked to get them up the other end of the field, and eventually bring back the margin to 2... let's just say that justice prevailed!!

Hayne keeping us in the game a few times with knock ons and other stuff ups had me laughing. I wasn't laughing when Burt missed the penalty. I was in stunned silence!

Would have prefered BIG TANIELA to be back, and score Five Tries in a act of revenge!!, in a 66 - 2 smashing, and marshall to step again another 13 parra players along with 11/11 with the boot, Lawerance and Tiquri to have 7 line breaks each, Farah to be named MOM, Monday Sport headline in Daily Telegraph to say "Heighinton, Lawerence and Farah Next years Blue's Saviours" : Craig Bellamy….........................but i dont mind the ALL OF THE ABOVE OPTION

When Burt missed that goal Wests Tigers supporters all around me were jumping on eachother going nuts. Heaps of Parramatta fans around me were crying. I am so glad that I got a ticket for this match before it was sold-out.

When we won last year, i didnt stop for a second to think about how gutted you guys were. Now that its happened to us, i understand how you guys must have felt. Let me tell you, it is the worst feeling in the world and you can all give me crap for being an emotional turd but yeah words cant describe how i feel right now. But i disagree with you guys, Burt didnt deserve that, he didnt deserve to be made to feel as if he cost the team the game.

I'll take the option not listed; that comedy of errors that was Jarryd Hayne's game. He blew that game is just about every conceivable way. I'll agree with iloveparra though, although I hate Burt for his Socceresque performance last year with Gibbs, he was one of Parras best today and their loss will be directly attributed to that kick even though their marquee player was shut down or screwed every half chance he had.
