seriois probably because he never got given a go

He was given a go. Fact is he is a midget who spent half the season injured and was never NRL standard.

Well that's a shame. Would rather they kept Humble and released Reddy instead.

Humble played too many NRL games and they didn't calculate correctly.. So they had to let him go..

You can't play too many NRL games there is no such thing. What a surprise the counters behind the scenes didn't calculate something correctly again. Sheens is gone time for the ones giving advice on our salary cap and finance matters to go as well.

Yes you can. If you have bonus' built in and contract obligations.

Just ask Kirk Reynoldson if you can play too many NRL games.

If Humble wasn't playing those games then Sironen or Koribete or Tedesco would have played those games.
I understand how contracts work. 10 NRL games $20,000 bonus, 20 NRL games $40,000 bonus added to next years cap for players on minimum contracts. very simple.
Next year another young guy or new recruit will play 10 games and receive a bonus.
A good accountant should factor in bonuses being paid. Every club has to do that. Look at Josh Reynolds from the dogs he probably has an extra $50,000 plus to add to next years contract as a result of the number of NRL games he played this year.
Salary cap…I realise it is just an excuse to let Humble go but Why is there a salary cap problem.
Don't they have calculators ?

I'm not saying our administration arent terrible at their job.

I'm saying your comment "You can't play too many NRL games there is no such thing." is false. You pretty much agreed with your last post.

It is not quite as simple as that, there are different bonus and match payment structures in every contract. Many relate to games played, especially for fringe players, others are linked to rep performances and alike. Some have small bases and with higher 'per game' bonuses.
The cap is very complicated and if an unexpected amount of bonuses occur it can create salary cap pressure.

The most extreme example is 2003 panthers who had huge bonuses occur when a heap of players unexpectedly triggered bonuses by making rep teams and so forth, ripped the side apart way quicker than would be expected.

I heard that Benji was on contracts during his shoulder issues years that he had to play X amount of games to get his full contract activated

Any truth to that
