It seems:

Api at 7.
Feledy blooded in the Centers with Reilly. 1 game between them.

Then we see a rookie start in the forward pack? Who is Kit Laulilii ? *

He pushed out James Aitasi?

Look I get it. Give Jake Simpkin a farewell, Blood a few youngsters. But boy these changes are wild.

With Papalii, are we just aiming to get the most i's in names for a team.

The "Is" have it. 😉
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens against Manly.
I'm sure Manly will be up for it, at home etc.
We've had some nasty last round losses in recent years and it's all about attitude tonight.
I'll be rooting for a W.

I think it really is aimed at giving some of the guys a debut, a taste of NRL to prepare them/make a decision on them for next year. And I can see Benji telling them all to just go out there and have fun for their last game. Might surprise imo

100%. He is giving the 2 he feels earns it but to also give them a rest out , game means nothing but it gives us a look a them , Feledy may have a little trouble in defence but he could score a couple so we get to see same for Kitt

One game doesn’t make any difference and if that is being used to judge them, that’s unfair.
We should have started blooding guys a month or so back.

We need ‘wild’ .. until now it’s been same old, same old - James needs to get fit, he’s gasping.

I also doubt one game will be used to conclusively evaluate them (although it wouldn’t surprise), but it will at least give the club a preview of their ability in the top grade.

As for bringing them in a month back, I sort of agree, but on the other hand I’d prefer to see them go out and have some fun, no pressure on them, in one last bash before the end of the season. That’s better than the other option of potentially dragging things out for them in a losing team, with a deflating lead in for next season.

I'm looking forward to see Kit Laulilii. My impression with no inside info is that he is one of the kids the club are hoping become NRL stars.

Agreed, the more juniors we can genuinely market as good first graders the better it will be for our long term future (panthers model)

All I can say is what plan ?
We have laboured all year without really having one, and got lucky with a few wins , but what we want is off the cuff stuff that gets the points.
Actually, I don’t think it would make a difference with a plan.
