When both Keith and Robbie played

We played 12 games this yr when both big Keithy and Robbie Farah both played. We won 9 of the 12 and only lost 3 which were Brisbane early in the yr when we played fairly well and just had no luck, the bulldogs game a couple of weeks ago when we should have won but for refereeing errors and the Newcastle game.

This to me shows that yes injuries did have a significant effect on our season especially when comparing to some of the top 4 teams who mainly seem to have been injury free to key players . However I also think some criticism goes to sheens because for Galloway especially we didn't have the depth to cover for his loss

Also we won 4 out of 5 with Sironen at five eight and 1 from 1 with our first choice fullback in tedesco.

same old excuses year in year out. injuries played there part, but so did poor squad management. we should have been in the 8, injuries or not. at the end of the day, tedesco was untested, as was sironen. to say their injuries cost our season is a cop out.

I think people put far too much emphasis on when x played in position 3 we won –- many games.

Its crap

Its a team sport.

Fact is weve been all over the shop with players in different positions all year, MOST of it all unnecessarilly so

Agree with you Ink.

It comes down to how you structure the team's depth and how you respond to the injuries. We had to make mid-year purchases to cover both of these positions which shows terribly inept planning. Sheens also used 4 different hookers to cover Farah, and 9 halves combinations. We are not a one man team, but Sheens sure makes it seem as if we are

Blaming injuries is rubbish, to people blaming injuries think about this, Brett Stewart, Glenn Stewart, Tony Williams and Keiran Foran all missed several games this season yet Manly still finished top 4\. That is 4 international players who would start at any club in the competition.

Also considering most of our team are rep players.
Right in saying it came down to squad management, but there were a number of things to come into the equation.
