When did you become a TIGER FAN?

When I moved to NSW in 1986 as a kid, I became a big fan of Scott Gale. Therefore I became a big fan of the Tigers and have been ever since.

I have been a Tigers fan since I can remember yet I knew no other Tigers fan until high school in 2001\. Surrounded by Roosters fans I wouldn't have a clue when and why. My favourite animal has always been the tiger and the two probably joined paths along the way sometime when I wa very young. The Tigers have been the one and only team.

Hey guys. Just joined up so my first post.
I became a Tiger fan when the merge happened.
I have been a Magpie fanatic since I was about 4 years old in the late seventies.
When I was growing up I did not know one kid who barracked for Wests.
Made me love them even more!!!

My dad was born in Balmain so I have always followed the Tigers. I am well North of 50 so it has been a loooooonnnnng time.
PS - I was born in the Illawarra and I had a soft spot for the Steelers (second team if you like) but when St George took over it was goodbye forever.

After the merger, but before that I started following the Magpies in 1977 when working at Broken Hill and became a highly passionate suuporter when Manly began poaching their players and loved it when we beat them. Loved watching the DVD Fibros V Silvertails, brought back many memories. :supporter:

Born in Paddington in '74 but my family moved to Lilyfield when I was about four. Started following league when I was maybe five or six. I can still remember my dad taking me to see a Panasonic Cup game in '83 I think at Leichhardt when the Tigers flogged Brisbane 33-14 (or something like that). Scott Gale and Garry Jack were in full flight on that night. I remember we parked a good distance from the ground and had to walk through the streets to get to the ground. That was a truly exciting night.
