Some folks write off players fast!
Lawrence is the best backline defender in the club,& altho not quite the same weapon in attack due to a loss of pace & confidence that goes with that, hes the best option in centres by daylite.
And he's still young with plenty of upside

We needed Rowdy there last night…............cant believe some don't want to see him back :crazy :crazy :crazy

There's a difference between saying he wouldn't make much of a difference and saying that you don't want to see him back. So far i haven't seen anyone say they don't want to see him back. Don't twist people's words

Sorry bout that, but until he hurt his ankle he was looking pretty good.

Rowdy is one of my fav's

Yep, he was heading in the right direction until his ankle injury. He starting to get across the tryline again, and being put into open space. 2012 has certainly been a disappointing season for him, but I think he'll be a better player for it next year.

Sorry but Chris in 2012 is not the answer. He has been very average all year and coming back from yet another injury, will only provide a weak link in our defence. Ryan is making some bad reads but he is learning on the fly. Rowdy is experienced and has made the same poor reads all year long.

I hope we dont see him again this year, he gets over all his niggles, gets fit, gets his head right and attacks 2013 full bore.

Would rather Lawrence didn't come back this year, tbh. I know that sounds crazy, but he hasn't been good all year and I think we have been playing heaps better without him. If his inclusion means that he will be playing five eighth and that Koroibete will be dropped, I'd rather it didn't happen.

They said he shouldn't be back this year lol.

I am not saying I dont want him back. I said I dont see the need for him to be rushed back this year. The form he has been in coupled with the injuries he still has…well it just doesnt make sense to bring him back early. Let him get fit so that we may finally see him put in a full season and become the gun that everyone is convinced he already is.

Unfortunately along with Lawrence, quite a few have had a disappointing season. I expect to see him the centres upon his return.

Ditto on that. Also the fact that Sheens said he would put Chris back at five eighth when he returns. He and the team haven't performed well with him there, he really needs to be in the centres.

If he is coming back at five eight then I dont want him back. He simply cannot perform well in that position. Of all Sheens' follies playing him there is surely the greatest; well perhaps Fitzy but lets not go there.

Lawrence is capable of doing the exact same thing Fulton is doing right now except better. As long as that is all Lawrence is asked to do then its fine. In the past he was expected to provide too much halves play.

I asked Rowdy on twitter the other when is he back and replied saying unfortunately not for a couple of weeks

Just saw a side posted in the Telecrap that had Lawrence named at No.4 against Roosters. It also had Ryan at full back, Moltzen 5/8 and Fulton at hooker with Iosefa on the bench. .

Returning from an injury , I wouldn't expect much from him, especially to play him in the halves. And also with Tim's hand - probably why we see him in the halves with Benji and Rowdy in his usual spot.

Agree TigerMac at his best he is easily along with Farah and Marshall the most exciting player to watch at the Tigers Lets hope his previous injuries still allow us to see his best in the future

A full off season should help greatly

he has to be rushed back. maybe he won't be as good attack wise but ryan and aysh'd defense has been pretty poor off late. idk about you but i really do think we need him back and him playing on sunday is the right decision if he is fit enough to play.

the season is on the line here, you can't fold your hand and say nah give him an off season we will use him next season. if he is the best we have, then we need him.
