The Cows would be favs against us but we’d be some hope. I don’t think we’ll beat Manly with Turbo back in the team.

Pretty sure the Cowboys haven't beaten us in Sydney since 2004 or something like that. Thurston never won a single game at Leichhardt in something like 13 attempts.

We'll know within the first 10-15 minutes whether we can win the game. Last few times we've played Newcastle their forwards monstered us. It all comes down to Musgrove IMO. He is our most important player this week.

With all due respect let’s not put it down to one particular player. It is a team sport. It’s becoming more and more obvious that the good clubs are just that good clubs. The team no matter who they pick does a job. The Roosters proved that missing two thirds of their starting 13.

I am kinda hoping complacency seeps into the Newcastle team. If guys like Bradman Best and Saifiti are anywhere close to 80%, we are in trouble. If they buy into the whole Pearce 300, home game, heavy favourites tag then we could be smokies.
