Fox commentators are pretty bad i think

Agree with the others, Vossy will take over.

Doesn't matter who they appoint IMO, I find all the channel nine commentary team terrible, with the exception of Rabs who is tolerable.

LOL, Fittler and Johns - both great players, but neither of them should be allowed to speak on national television :laughing:
 
I like Voss - he's like an uberfan and very knowledgeable. Fitler is sometimes funny in an ocker kind of way but he adds bugger all in terms of contributing to the commentary.
 
I used to love listening to TK (Terry Kennedy) from The Roast, when he used to commentate on Fox. I found him very entertaining without bias.
 
Warren Boland is a good commentator,
or something completely from left field, Gavin Badger's wife, she is a ref, have her in the team, for a completely independant opinion.
 
I can't stand Andrew Voss, something gets in his head and he'll bring it up several times during a call and wont leave it alone. Not many people like him but I think Andrew Moore is great. I like how it seems like he forgets he's on national radio and speaks his mind.
 
I really dislike Vossy too, he tries too hard to be funny and always ends up being lame.

It's going to be a sad day when Rabs retires that's for sure.
 
It will depend on which channel gets the tv rights if it's 10 or 7 they may not want ex 9 callers depends on who is available and whether the station has an existing commentator e.g 10 are using Andrew Moore (as Chris has said) to anchor one of their rugby league shows (Thursday nights) and he calls league games for 2GB. Westie mentioned Warren Boland as well who still comments on the QLD state cup comp. Trouble with Vossy is he's too full of his own importance.
 
How about Mike Stephenson from the ESL and Lozza . They are perfect for each other .
One of Stephensons most memorable comments was "They'll be posting T R I Try any moment ."
Him and Lozza would have you searching for sharp objects or the mute button . Seriously though what about the Caller from ABC radio who does the main games over the weekend Having a mental blank on his name
 
i like vossy.

i dislike rabs, i cant wait for his retirement. i actually dont mind what gus gould does, but to me rabs goes on about it and makes me want to turn off. i hate friday night football

Happy I think you are referring to David Morrow who calls the NRL with comments from the wok Ryan. As for Mike Stevo I think he has stuck his head into too many scrums in the days when hookers actually played that position and fought for the ball in scrums. I recall watching him play for Penrith, a handy player, he was accompanied by a fellow pom at the time named Bill Ashurst who was a handy second rower. None can match Gareth Ellis though, they tell me he is a real champion.
 
I wouldn't mind Andrew Moore. He annoys me sometimes but he is objective. I don't hate Gus as much as I used to. He gets genuinely excited calling some games and I reckon he'd a hit with the kids with his catchphrases.
