Where do u see us finishing the regular season?

I think we will finish in the top 4 and go on to win the comp. I am being very positive and if we play to our best over the back part of the season and have no injuries.

I just did the ladder predictor on nrl.com and had us finishing in 6th place on 34 points. That is winning 7/10 remaining games, losing 1 to Bulldogs, Cowboys and Storm. But one win more would see us in the top 4 and one win less would see us in 7th. The cut-off the the top 8 is the Cowboys on 30 points, just in front of the Dragons.

We have some very big games against top 8 teams (Bulldogs (2), Cowboys, Souths and Storm) and any win against these is a bonus.

But I am also counting on us beating the other teams (Knights, Eels, Dragons, Panthers and Roosters) which is definitely not a certainty!

The top 8 looks pretty safe at the moment but we need to push as high up the ladder as possible, especially with the different finals format this year.

We will finish second … good things are coming players are starting to hit form ,some will be returning to the paddock if the team can stay fit I have no reason to think we can't get to second.Honestly I don't rate any teams other than Melbourne,Manly,Brisbane we have all the others covered including the Dogs, whether the Tigers make the Final well thats Finals footy but I see a lot of good things appearing withthis side and I'm a high marker.Ladder predictor rubbish!

We've got:

Newcastle (A)
Bye
Bulldogs (H)
Panthers (H)
Cowboys (A)
Souths (A)
Parramatta (H)
Dragons (H)
Bulldogs (A)
Roosters (A)
Storm (H)

Quite a tough run home in my opinion. Bulldogs twice. Townsville roadtrip. Souths again. Dragons again (it's always a tough game against them). And of course finishing with Melbourne.

Playing lots of these top four teams can be beneficial though. If we win, it means they also lose which works in our favour on the ladder twofold.

I'm hopeful of a top four finish but I can see us coming in the 5-8 group due to dropping some of those games in our 5-game losing streak and on for and against.

I couldn't have said it better  Hard run home but bonus if we can beat those top 4 teams, and im confident we can! If injuries don't affect us and we can move on from this unfortunate loss than count us in the top 4.

I'm worried we'll miss it to be honest. We've dropped quite a few winnable games and games against beatable teams.

Besides the Warriors, i can't see any team out of the 8 putting enough games together.

I think the best thing going for us is that there is at least 1 team within the 8 capable of losing loads of games coming into the finals, so that if the Warriors do make their run, it might be at the expense of the Sharks instead of us.

Im glad we have a tough run home! More often than not we seem to put it together against the better teams and drop off a bit on the 'should' wins. At least thats the way it seems to me.

We're usually blessed with easy runs towards the end of the year. Our last 4 games in 2011 were against Penrith, Parramatta, Titans and the Sharks who all missed the 8 last year. We also played these same 4 teams towards the back end of 2010 too.

Admittedly, last year we did piece together two consecutive great wins against Manly and St George.

This year will be a good test for the team. I'm expecting Ellis to come back at a million miles an hour and hopefully finals footy is the motivation Blair needs. We've shown this year we can play a tightened game and a slog fest against Canberra and Melbourne, I think we can give some of the teams like the Bulldogs and Broncos a bit of a shake.

If we can get everyone on the field over the next few weeks we should go well. So long as we get there, the new finals series really gives all teams in the 8 a good shot at it.

that is a tough run home.. only 'easier' matches are penrith and newcastle. the others teams can all trouble us.

It would be really good if all the other teams on or around the same points as us would STOP BLOODY WINNING!
