I think they underperformed and dont see them top 4 but could bump us out of a top eight position. The other team is the Cowboys who are likely to have a better season this year than last with and are definitely top 8 contenders.

I agree. Knights and Cows to improve at the expense of Warriors and Dragons. Leaves us battling to make the eight and probably slipping a spot or two. I can’t see any of the current top 6 losing too much ground.

Good assessment, got the coach but still to
Many plodders in the side definitely a couple of sides moving above us next season , unfortunately around 10th ,about 4 top liners short of a real go at the 8.

I think we are only two top liners short myself , **you can't have superstars in every position**

Open RL dictionary see Sydney Rorters..

I would think 8-10 top liners…

A champion team will beat …...never mind , wasted on you

I voted 8th. Last season we were 9th with both good and bad luck in various games. This season due to coach change and hopefully more passion and better basics such as completing sets and holding on to the ball we can do 1 better. If Reynolds stays fit and our hooker pairing of Farah and Liddle works smoothly maybe 6-7th is not beyond us. Our forwards are a bit stronger but we will be reliant on Packer, Matulino, Twal and co to pave the way and give Brooks some room for his plays.

is it bad to say, that as long as we make finals next year and we make a effort in the finals as well i will be happy?….....

Don't want to get locked in to a prediction too early. However I think it could be a little downgrade from last season.

We jumped sides early and won 5 games before people woke up last year (Off the back of a World Cup)

I like the appointment of Maguire. However I don't love the current squad. Just lacking some speed out wide and an intimidator up front.

9-11 win range 9th to 13th range I'm thinking at this stage.

After all the latest drama if they don't fight it they'll be odds on for the spoon which is where the league wants them.

Rubbish. They'll only get the spoon if the players use it as an excuse for poor performance. I know Madge wont. There's 2 ways this can go, perform and give a big '' up yours '' to the NRL or take the soft option and fold like a deck of cards. Lets hope they have a bit more ticker than option 2.

Not sure how to start a thread but would someone start a thread/poll on 2019 Wests Tigers player of the year for 2019.

Thinking of backing Mbye for Daily M at $81

Bookies don't seem to think so hence the 80/1 odds.

I think Newcastle and Canberra have squads to improve there position next year.
The current top eight if a team was to faulter maybe StGeorge or the Warriors.
I see us still somewhere between 8th-10th.

Newcastle should have a top 4 roster now. They will definitely make the 8.

Canberra, with Jordan Rapana injured for half the season, they will be lucky to make the top 12! Unless Aiden Sezer and Sam Williams find form and relive their glory days, *sic*

As well as Newcastle improving this year, I’d kill for the Titans forward pack, I think they’ll be amuch improved team this year ,I think both of those teams will be in next years 8

I reckon it's not a bad bet for the price. $67 with Beteasy, so maybe you're getting overs.

Bookies are rich because they give odds that look good. Punters on the other hand …....

. . . . have goods that look odd ?

Tbh I reckon we have a good balanced team given luck with injuries. We should have been in 8 last year and ironically benji been injured crueled as as Reynolds wasn't fit or a good partner for Brooks.
But if Farah and Mbye was as available all year no doubt.
L erts face it Cleary done some good things Madge can build on and our three-quarters look good.
