If they are serious about this there would at least be a team in Perth and some gone from Sydney. Just how that happens should be decided on profitability and TV ratings. If you are on the bottom of those lists then you are gone.
I heard on radio about studies that have been done on relocating sports teams. There is a critical list of criteria such as needing to be relatively successful, marketable, well-known, widely supported, etc. Unless most of the boxes are ticked apparently it is a very hard sell.
But whatever happens I think we'll see a WA team - it fits nicely with timezone/kick-off times, fits well with the national direction and there is plenty of money over there now…
