Where has the effort come from

:smiley: not sure what or who is responsible but in the last 2 weeks the effort of the playing group in both winning and losing has improved out of site. This is a very pleasing thing as we were in shambles and for one reason or another things aren't all doom and gloom for even this year, maybe it's the year we needed and more importantly the year we never want repeated. 2014 is going to be good but laid by the platform of the last 2 and hopefully 3 weeks effort. Well done boys for turning it around better late than never!!!!

Combinations are being formed as the new guys grow into their roles. The team has been so disrupted this season that it has been hard for any momentum to be created. In most games the effort has been there but the self belief, trust and attitudes of the playing group have been fractured. As they continue to gain experience, both in first grade and playing with/relying upon each other the sucesses will follow.

Their passing and combination especially in the fast half was so crisp and precise. Their tackling also worried souths for a long time.
